fifty-six Weekend Services
Have a child in 5th or 6th grade? fifty-six is for you!
Although these two grades can be found in a variety of different schools based on how you classify them, we see them as both being “preteens” and in need of their own ministry. So they are found in our Student Ministries. They meet alongside our 7th-8th graders, but have their own teaching and small groups that are all grade and gender specific.
We have three weekly* worship services for fifth and sixth graders that meet in our Student Ministries Center, located on the south side of Mount Pleasant Christian Church’s Community Life Center.
We meet Saturdays 6-7:10pm; Sundays 10-11:10am; 11:30am-12:40pm. Doors open 20 minutes prior to each service. Doors are locked 20 minutes after services begin for safety.
* There is no fifty-six service offered during the 8:45am time on Sundays. If you want to worship during that service, your middle schooler can join you in the Worship Center.
The fifty-six weekend service includes: games, music, prayer, videos, fun, communion, Bible teaching and a large amount of time in small groups, the core of our weekend services.
We also have a variety of activities outside of the weekend from NERF Wars to weekend retreats and conferences to service projects and a week-long summer camp.
