Global Teams

We are passionate about the call to go out into the world and make disciples of all nations. We have many opportunities locally and globally to make a difference in the world and to share the love and the message of Jesus Christ. Please take a look below on how you can serve on a local or global mission trip:

    Guatemala

    December 27, 2017-January 2, 2018

Mission: Casas por Cristo relies on the labor and resources of
full time staff missionaries, a board of over 100 pastors and community leaders from Mexico, Guatemala and Dominican Republic, and nearly 7,000 annual volunteers from across North America. Through these cross-cultural partnerships, volunteer teams are presented with an amazing opportunity to build a home for a family in need.
Come & join us in showing God’s love and faithfulness to a family in need. During this one-week experience you will transform an otherwise empty lot into a safe and secure home – complete with cement foundation, electricity, windows and doors. Each family receives a tangible symbol of the faithfulness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ. As a volunteer, you will gain perspective on the extreme poverty that exists in our world. You will also be blessed to see how you’ve changed the world for this family. As a result, these families better understand God’s plan for their lives an His deep desire to take care of their needs.

      Burma

      January 26 - February 11, 2018

Mission: We will serve alongside our mission partners Simon
Thaung with Asia Christian Services, Josiah Aung with Asian Children’s Mission and Lincoln Bill with Restoration Bible Institute. Our team will consist of those traveling on the trip with FAME and our partners in Myanmar.

Together we will form a medical brigade with the purpose of treating the physical and spiritual needs of patients living in and around selected communities. Our in-country hosts have found it beneficial for us to offer medical care in communities where they, themselves, are ministering. Medical brigades have been used to “open doors” for our Myanmar evangelists to either enter a community for the very first time or are used to strengthen already existing relationships between the Christian evangelists and people living in that community.

We need medical professionals such as Physicians, Nurses, Pas, NPs, Physical Therapists, and others. We are also in need of non-medical trip participants who will be taught how to serve in a variety of areas.

        Egypt

        February 7-16, 2018

Mission: Christian Arabic Services (CAS) exists to provide education, benevolence, and evangelism to the people of Egypt. In recent years, the position of Christians in Egypt has become increasingly under pressure. Many Christians face severe limitations within their homes, extended families, and societies. CAS works to develop Christian leaders in the Arab world, while supporting and encouraging those who have already accepted Christ at their savior. We will be joining with CAS to run a children’s camp in Luxor. Additionally, we will be facilitating a Marriage Conference.
In addition to reaching out to the local people of Luxor, we will be spending time in the Sudanese refugee camps. Alexandria is the home of large Sudanese refugee camps filled with men, women, and children who have fled conflict in their home country. We will work to distribute humanitarian supplies and the love of Jesus to everyone we encounter.

          Kenya

          February 16 - 25, 2018

Mission: Silas and Rahab Waweru have been assigned the task of supervising Village Church Planting in Kenya. They are also involved in theological training of indigenous national leaders and empowering local communities through compassionate ministries. They also founded Providence Training Center, a school for marginalized pastors, and later co-founded Care to Learn International, a not-for-profit organization to support pastoral training and community outreach.

We are thrilled to partner with Silas and Rahab as we work together to spread the Gospel through various ministry opportunities. We will be facilitating a Marriage Conference and Pastoral Training, as well as a variety of service projects at a boy’s home. The trip will culminate with a safari where we get to sleep outside with the ‘big cats’.

              Kentucky

              March 18-25, 2018

Mission: We will be partnering with Cross Roads Missions. Cross Roads Missions provides a doorway for churches and individuals seeking ministry opportunities in places they may otherwise have difficulty serving. They accomplish this goal by bringing people of all ages into missions in the United States and foreign fields. These experiences greatly challenge those who participate to consider deeper involvement in ministry in both the world and their own communities.

Our mission will begin on Sunday evening with an orientation from our partner. On Wednesday, we will take the day to experience a day hiking, swimming, tubing and/or boating at a local state park. Our team will be assisting Northridge Christian Church with planning and participating in community outreach activities, a local construction project, as well as working in teams to accomplish daily chores and meals together. Our days will begin with a devotional time and conclude with a team gathering to worship and pray together and provide an opportunity to talk about the day. Evening feature activities can include community dinners, game nights and local music performances.

Mission: Nehemiah Vision Ministries is committed to seeing Haitians move from darkness to light; from hopelessness to eternal life. Their vision is to see Haitians living productive lives and rebuilding Haiti. A vital part of this vision is Short Term Mission Teams. Teams are helping build toward this vision through their four pillars of Leadership Development, Education, Healthcare, and Economic Empowerment. Supporting all of the pillars, and ultimately the vision, is a foundation of Spiritual Development.
The activities that our team from Mount Pleasant will undertake will specifically support the mission of Healthcare. Our team will focus on medical care for those living in the outer impoverished villages and tent cities.

                    Victory Lane

                    June 6-10, 2018

Mission: Victory Lane Camp is S’MORE than a camp. It’s a community made up of people from all types of backgrounds and abilities who care and connect with one another. Centered around families who have children with disabilities, the reach of Victory Lane goes beyond therapy and services. Connections made between families through Victory Lane lead to lasting friendships where families support one another through the stresses and joys of life all year long.

This summer MPCC will partner with Victory Lane Camp by providing an opportunity for families and individuals to serve together through an affordable mission trip experience. Come join us this summer as we build a community centered around families of children with special needs. This is a great local service opportunity for a family or an individual.
